Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Mark Boschert is a highly-respected plastic surgeon, who is experienced with all procedures for the face and body, with a specialty in facial procedures such as facelifts and fat grafting. He prides himself in making the procedure and the amount of adjustment fit each patient’s desires and anatomy. He says that patients today are very educated and come to the consultation with lots of information, but not always the best information. It’s his job to separate fact from fiction and to tailor the correct solution to the specific needs of each individual patient. Dr. Boschert received his undergraduate degree from Benedictine College. He received a Master of Science degree and his medical doctorate from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He did his general surgery and plastic surgery training at the University of Missouri-Columbia and a cosmetic surgery fellowship with Plastic Surgery Associates of Miami, Florida.

“As a child, I couldn’t stand to see something broken.”

Dr. Boschert believes that being a good physician is about being a good problem solver. That point of view is what motivates his work. He says it is often the more subtle nuances that age people – that make them look tired, sad, or unhappy. Plastic surgery can change how the world responds to that person and can help the person look like he or she feels. Dr. Boschert “fixes” what time and heredity have not made perfect.

“People want others to think they look great for their age.”

Dr. Boschert strives for a natural appearance so that friends just think that person looks rested, refreshed and happy. People simply want to look like they feel; to stop feeling self-conscious about something. “I watch many people bolster their self-confidence and revive their self-esteem just by addressing one aspect of their body. It is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do! It’s my job to restore what they feel they have lost.”
