Chilled Tea Bags to Help Eliminate Puffy Eyes

The antioxidants, caffeine and tannins in green, black and chamomile teas will reduce irritation and fluid retention, eliminating the appearance of tired, puffy eyes:

  • Steep two tea bags in hot water for under a minute
  • Remove the tea bags from the water and chill them in the refrigerator
  • Once they are cold, place one tea bag over each eyelid for 5-15 minutes

Eliminate Sugar for Radiant Skin

Sugar is highly acidic and will cause inflamed, irritated skin. This can lead to the development of acne, wrinkles and dry skin. Cutting refined sugars out of your diet will help maintain clear, beautiful skin.

Pomegranate, Raspberry and Sweet Almond Oil Blend for Soft Skin

When blended together, the oils from these foods make an effective moisturizer that helps maintain soft, beautiful skin:

  • Combine equal portions of pomegranate seed oil, raspberry seed oil and sweet almond oil
  • Apply 3-6 drops of the oil mixture to the palm of your hands and rub them together
  • Gently press the oil onto any dry areas of your face
  • Always apply after cleansing your skin

Bone Broth to Reduce Fine Lines

Eating bone broth, which is rich in collagen, will support tissue generation and help reduce fine lines. Bone broth also has detoxifying properties which will reduce the appearance of pimples and promote healthy skin.

Coconut Water for Hydrated Skin

Drinking coconut water will naturally moisturize your skin without adding excess oil. The nutrients in coconut water also have anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and detoxifying properties that help improve your skin complexion.

Almond Oil for Skin Cleanser

If you run out of your medical-grade skin cleanser, almond oil can serve as an effective alternative. It acts as a natural skin cleanser and hydrates your skin without blocking pores.

Shea Butter for Hydrated Lips

Combine equal portions of shea butter and coconut oil for an effective, all-natural lip balm that will smooth, soothe, condition and moisturize your lips.

Green Tea for Skin Toner

Applying green tea to your face will act as a toner for brightening, evening, cleansing and hydrating your skin. Use this in conjunction with a cleanser for bright, beautiful skin:

  • Steep two tea bags for 5 minutes
  • Allow the tea to cool to room temperature
  • Apply by patting onto your face with cotton pads or spritz the mixture onto your skin using a spray bottle

Organic Papaya Mask for a Natural Exfoliant

Papaya contains natural enzymes which act as an exfoliant and remove dead skin cells for a revitalized appearance. To make a papaya mask:

  • Choose unripe papayas for most effective results (only use ripe papayas if you have sensitive skin)
  • Scoop out ¼ cup raw papaya flesh and blend with 1 tablespoon of fresh pineapple until smooth
  • Apply to dry skin and leave it on for 5-15 minutes
  • Rinse with cool water

Tea Tree Oil for Acne Treatment

Tea tree oil can reduce mild to moderate acne breakouts without causing many of the side effects associated with acne medications. Make sure you use an all-natural tea tree oil with no additives. Use diluted tea tree oil to avoid irritating your skin. Add 1-2 drops to your cleanser, serum or moisturizer and apply 2-3 times a day.
